Blake Bowling

Attorney

Blake Bowling Blake Bowling was born and raised in Middlesboro, Kentucky, and the small-town principles of honesty, loyalty, and hard work are evident in how he represents clients. Blake is a 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he graduated Cum Laude. Following undergraduate, he enrolled in law school at the University of Louisville, where he graduated in 2012 with a Juris Doctor.

While in law school, Blake sought and was offered employment with one of the most prominent injury law firms in the state of Kentucky: Franklin, Gray and White. Blake credits this incredible learning experience with igniting a passion for injury law, and it still impacts how he practices today. “I’ve never been able to tolerate a bully or someone who uses their power to take advantage of a smaller person. That’s why I’m passionate about representing small individuals against some of the biggest insurance companies and corporations in the world. That gets me out of bed early. I believe in the little guy, and I’m here to fight for them every day.”

In 12 years of almost exclusive injury work, Blake has obtained impressive results, with multiple cases resolving north of one million dollars and numerous mid-hundred-thousand-dollar results. In this demonstrated success, Blake has earned a strong reputation amongst insurance companies and corporations for being an aggressive and highly competent attorney who will remain fighting until his client is treated fairly. Blake has particularly shown strength at trial and in representing injured clients before juries. Blake obtained a unanimous jury verdict (2021) against one of the largest corporations in the world, Walmart, as well as another unanimous verdict (2022) against the largest vehicle insurer in America, State Farm.

Due to his accomplishments in the Courtroom, Blake was elected to serve and currently serves as a board member and District Vice President of the Kentucky Justice Association, a collection of upstanding Kentucky trial lawyers who work to preserve the Constitutional right to trial by jury.

Blake is proud to be from a family of distinguished lawyers. His late father, Michael D. Bowling, practiced law in Middlesboro for 37 years; his uncle, Robert Bowling, practiced locally for 24 years and now serves as a Social Security Administrative Law Judge; and his cousin, James L. Bowling, retired in 2009 after multiple terms as the Bell County Circuit Court Judge.
